As I was moving back to help family for the summer, I stumbled upon many notebooks, all almost FULL of poems, song lyrics, even funny playful white girl raps I've created. I've noticed that a majority of my writings, because I've written when feeling emotional (I hate that word) or Depressed, or frustrated, have been more on the "Deep" end. So for those who have read some of my things, let me just remind you I am a very happy person and have LOVED the life I have been given and livin' . I have been so extrememly blessed and have one of the best families, and some of the greatest friends ever.

This summer has just started but I was lucky enough to be back in B-e-a-UTIFUL Crescent City when it did. I came home to help my family, and have been enjoying it so far. There are days when I just plop down on my bed and realize it has been an unfamiliar item since the night before, and days where I finally end up not even removing my make up off all the way because I have used too much energy, but I don't regret it one bit. This last week I was able to witness one of the greatest moments in someones life, Casey, my younger and last sister, Graduated High school! it was such a terrific event and I am so very proud of her! my eyes got a little teary as I watched her walk proudly to the stage, receieve her Diploma and walk and wave to us with that excited smile! My tears were soon forgotten and away once my loud hilarious family and I started cheering for her loudly , receiving many looks and amused bystanders, but it was worth it.

After Casey's graduation I asked her what her plans were, "Cosmetology school to have a certificate in a trade, and to pay for college when I get a bachelors in another greater degree." Smart kid. my Oldest Niece Payton then turned to me and said "What do YOU want to be when you grow up Aunt Chelsey" I laughed and expained to her that I am already there, but I was still trying to figure it out. I've had desires to be many things, and have started school semesters and mulitpe classes in each one, but why was I still not jumping on the ball and finally just finishing one? what was it I needed to do or haven't been understanding? Then I got silent , and upset with myself. Those night I plop on the bed, or fall asleep with make up smudges on my face, were also the night I was falling asleep in the middle of praying, if even remembering to pray at all. Were/Are my prayers sincere enough? Am I listening for that voice or feeling or inspiration afterwards? This was another Wake up calls to myself and a rezlization that things could be a LOT easier for us if we REMEMBER TO PRAY, and do it with sincerity and a pure heart. I hope all of your summers are full with fun adventures, even the tough love- hard way of learning- type of one's. Aside from that, always remember how loved you are.

Happy New Year (kind of) ~ My Blessings

Well once again I lack in writing. But I'm not sure how many people read this anyways so it's all good! Happy 2011! I'm only 24 days late of saying that. Last year was quite the adventure! towards the end of 2009 I made it a 2010 New Year's Resolution not to get engaged, as a joke. and I just want to say I think it's pretty sad that I couldn't even hold to it. Life has definitely taught me a lot but it's hard to admit, I'm glad everything I went through has happened. As much as I got whip lash and experienced a roller coaster of emotions, It taught me to be a better person and know how much worth I have. At time I wanted to scream and yell and wondered why everything was happening, I look back now and realized all I needed was a little patience and good attitude, not to mention tons of humbling. Living back in Utah has been good, at first it was hard, leaving behind all the kids I watched, taught and helped raise and saying good bye to my amazing hilarious family in which I've been bonding with more than ever before right up until I left.

As I was home for Christmas I took a few minutes to sit back and just take in everything I saw. How Amanda, - who I remember watching as she left for her first day of 3rd grade at a new school in Crescent City, now sitting there 17 years later putting together toys that her youngest (the twins) got for Christmas, then complimenting her oldest (Payton, who is 5) as she rocked out on her new guitar, then throwing her arm around Danny her Husband as they watched the kids play.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 256px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TT3CAhjOFZI/AAAAAAAAAJs/iRAFwCiiQfc/s320/fryfamily1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565818028761683346" />

and Meridith, the second oldest kid of the Walch Family, who experienced a bad hair cut at a young age from when Amanda got a hold of some scissors, now talk to Casey about her mission she served to these days as her job as a Pre-school Teacher. Then Casey the youngest of us girls who I remember sharing a bedroom with when she was only in a crib, now discuss college plans and majors that she was interested in. It is so crazy how time flies, and to think my parents who I remember worked odd shifts, just to spend time at home with us, now work any schedule they desire and try to stay busy to ignore the fact that they have only one child left at home and if it weren't for demanding church callings, would probably go crazy bored and realize they aren't 25 anymore. I've truly been blessed to be apart of the family that I am apart of. As much as my family knows which button to push to get a reaction out of me, or to upset me, they also know which things to say to comfort me, and what to do to cheer me up.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TT3CR8XfzbI/AAAAAAAAAJ8/eKgU6I4vVGw/s320/walchfamily1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565818328018046386" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 239px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TT3CJRp0m9I/AAAAAAAAAJ0/QJT-GqkbWWA/s320/fryfamily2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565818179113229266" />

I may not be the little girl I was 5,10,15 years ago, but I will always be the Walch Girl that was raised to appreciate the small things, work hard for everything, and remember what I was taught at a young age by loving Parents. And that, I am grateful for. So as this new year comes in, I only hope to learn more, gain patience and wisdom, and remember that every bump, rock, and hurdle in my way is just another lesson Heavenly Father wants me to learn from, learn how to help one another, and learn from each other, while working through trials together. May we always remember where we came from, what we represent, and try our hardest to become what we truly can amount to. The possibilities are endless.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TT3CkS9yldI/AAAAAAAAAKM/iQgqRdrVxxU/s320/walchfamily2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565818643321886162" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TT3CaGq1pcI/AAAAAAAAAKE/fDAGQsU9TfY/s320/menbrad.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5565818468222477762" />

Once upon a Time

Scenario: Chelsey goes to a doctor in CC "Doctor, I think something is wrong, My throat hurts really bad." Doctor runs test, no results, says, "you're fine, go exercise" a week later, pain gets worse, chelsey goes back in "Doctor, something is REALLY wrong with my throat, It hurts really bad, and I haven't eaten, yet I've gained weight and got really sleepy." Chelsey thinks problem is solved. Chelsey moves to Utah. Gains even more weight, has the pain come back, then loses voice completely. Calls a Doctor in a different field. "Doctor here is the situation - " explains story to Doctor. Doctor calls her in. Does ten minute exam..... " you have Hypothyroidism" THANK YOU!

That is my story for the day. It's sad but true! it explains so much! and this Following Monday I am going to the doctor again to see what kind of Treatment plan I get. I Hope your Holiday Stories are much better! I'm so excited for Christmas and the fact that I get to spend it with my family. And as Exciting as I am to be able to spend Christmas with a wonderful Husband next year, it is somewhat sad to realize, this is the last year I will be able to spend Christmas unwed with my Parents. nothing but rotating from here on out. =) May we all be sure to remember the true meaning of Christmas this year and know that we are loved dearly. (likely story right?) I moved! I moved back to a place I never thought I'd move back to, and a city I thought I'd never move to, EVER. Any guess's? haha Good ol' Utah. fourth time is a charm I guess right? So I bought a Condo and have one room mate. She is pretty flippin' awesome. And clean. Life has been great, thanks to a good friend and some praying I got a full-time job the third day I lived here. Great benefits too! I'm still seeing my amazing Friend Brad and what's funny is that when I was back home, I mentioned possibly moving out here and he immediately snagged a plane ticket, flew to Cali, helped me pack, and drove a "Blessed" 15 hours back to Utah with me. Must be love right? Let's hope so, Because this is what he was forced to ride in.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TLijHksPs2I/AAAAAAAAAIg/LOBeVHbNmRo/s320/car2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5528347893100950370" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TLijSwpU-pI/AAAAAAAAAIo/iicpuBvSmFw/s320/car3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5528348085288499858" />

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/TLijbDZZafI/AAAAAAAAAIw/Pn1Er-LPTDM/s320/car1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5528348227760908786" />

I think the best part was finding out a good 3 big boxes we somehow managed to fit in the car, were the wrong boxes to bring out. Good times! Everything else in life has been going pretty well. My Mom's health has been better but she is healing from a recent surgery well, and My dad's Job is still Safe! which is great because we all know California is a little "off" right now. It sure has been a while! I am happy to announce I am blogging from my brand new laptop! I love it! A lot has been going on since my last post. My Surf Board is ALMOST done it's just been hard to finish since I work and go to school. I still work at my 3 jobs and do some side work for Jungle Roses out in Utah on occasion. The family is doing well too, Amanda and Danny (my oldest sister and her husband) are keeping bus with my beautiful nieces and nephew. Payton the oldest niece (4) just enrolled in school and will be going in the fall, the twins are crack ups and so full of energy and life, they turn two in September. Meridith (second oldest sister) Has returned from her mission to Texas and is currently living in Utah working as kindergarten teacher going to UVU. Casey (my little sister, the youngest) Just got a job at a local surf/skate store and salon and between that and her dance recitals, she is keeping busy. I got a calling as a CTR 5 year old primary teacher and it's been a blast. I have ALL boys in that class so it gets to be pretty entertaining, the only girl I have in there is able to handle it because she has a brother but sometimes I feel sorry for her for how much she has to put up with haha.

Between working three jobs, going to school at EOU, and holding my church calling, I pretty much have to fun social life unless I give up sleep, SO after talking with a few friends, co-workers, and family members, I decided I will be taking a vacation. But not just any vacation. a THREE WEEK vacation with three destinations! My first stop will be in Salt Lake city, UT where I will be there for 2 of the weeks, THEN off to Lake Powell, UT where I will be lounging on a house boat for the last week. My last stop will be Vegas (for the last couple days of vacation) where I will have fun, bypass quick civil chapel weddings (as lovely as that sounds) and fly out a couple days later. I'm pretty excited, but I know I will miss the kids I work with SO much! We'll see how it goes. I know a majority of you (ok like the 5 followers I have haha) are friends with me on facebook so you will see my pictures updated as soon as I get back! Well, I'm off to break in the computer more by doing some home work, but I hope you all had a great mothers day and enjoy the rest of this week. Take Care!

Funny Toilet Prank Video

I thought this was pretty funny. - That's pretty much my only post for today =)

Reviving Love

What a Month! February is almost over and yet I've had so many adventures already throughout this month. I was able to go out to Utah to help my old boss with her flower shop the second week of this month and while I was out there I re-united with some old friends and room mates and even went on a couple dates! It was so much fun and I'll be excited when I can do it again soon. Then, when I returned home I was able to get some surfing in before the weather gets too cold (ok so it pretty much is already there but I sucked it up) One day I noticed that my board had taken in a little bit of water. NOT GOOD! then I noticed there was some more bruising on it (portions of the board where water has damaged the inside and where it is now sensitive) I was so sad. I may have to retire 'ol Lola. I went in to a couple different local surf shops to see what they could do and how much it would cost.

Now, I originally bought the board for 200. It's had quite a few runs in her so It's worth about 125 now. Well, the quote came. 70 dollars for JUST the re-buff , wax and two of the small dings repaired. So, that's not even including the rest of the bruising and paint job, yada yada yada. I decided to take matters into my own hands. luckily, living on the coast and near water, we have marina's and other shops that provide equipment to fix water recreational things. So, I went to a couple shops, picked up some paint, brushes, wax, buffer and pic, and went at it! it's been 3 days and this is what it looks like so far....

Before:

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 184px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S4DCxItbt0I/AAAAAAAAAHI/Be5F0WxUD4o/s320/getattatchment4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440562499270981442" />

if you look closely you can see the spots, and if you look even CLOSER you will see the damaged nose that has wax smothered on it.

the First and second day:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S4DEfty4XdI/AAAAAAAAAHg/KZTbGnbQlu8/s320/surfboard1.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440564399011552722" />

I added the stripes. now, the BLACK is JUST TAPE to seperate the pink stripe from the yellow base color , it's not actual paint haha but It did look a little cool and made me think to add black stripes to it too. and finally....

the third day (today):

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S4DFDb5E4tI/AAAAAAAAAHo/jVd1rBp0tBE/s320/GetAttachment.aspx3.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5440565012680991442" />

I added part of the flower and vines. Now this is all done by hand so it's going to take time. I still have a lot to do. When you are re-painting a surf board, or boat or anything that is going to be in water, especially SALT water, you have to use acrylic based MARINE paint. a lot of people were telling me to go to wal*mart. which I could do for normal acrylic paint but that would wash off with the salt water after 1 use. It's not too expensive, about 8 dollars for a quart. If you're paying anything more than that you are getting jipped or probably just live in a super small town where they can charge you a lot. =) Anyways, I'm WAY excited. I still have to add the details to the flower and Vines and then paint the back side. I should be completely done by the end of the month. then it will be all ready to ride this summer! (even though I'll be at school, I will still visit and go surfing a lot) So I'm excited! I'll have to show you all how it turns out.

So THIS is what Growing up is like...

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S1fAPnui51I/AAAAAAAAAGw/T11c586vzbw/s320/December+-+jan+09-10+101.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429019250413201234" />

Well, It's been a while that's for sure! Christmas was great, I got great gifts and due to working 3 jobs I was able to spoil my family in return, especially my Parents, they sure do deserve it! Since Christmas things have been great, I've been working, spending time with the family and learning new things. ON THAT NOTE: Last night I was able to call up an old friend from Utah. As the two of us talked we shared stories about what had been going on with our lives, what's new and all that fun stuff. Suddenly he brought up a subject I was trying pretty hard to avoid. He asked me how everything was going since this "incident" and I started talking to him about my feelings, what I experienced, what I've learned, and what I am going on to do. There was about 10 seconds of awkward silence when he says "Chelsey.... you have grown SO much, it's amazing." trying to figure out how "immature" I exactly was when I last saw him 8 months ago, he goes on to tell me that I wasn't immature, I just wasn't as knowledgeable as I seem to be now, and he notices I am a stronger , wiser person. It was a great compliment that has me thinking I must be doing something right. I've been thinking back to when I first moved home and how wishy-washy I was about everything, My goals, My love life, my dream and aspirations and I realized since then I have found myself indulging in more adult conversation, feeding my hunger for knowledge and doing things that allow me to expand my mind capacity. It's been great and I've been blessed enough with family and friends who remind me what I am capable of daily.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S1fAipC2ymI/AAAAAAAAAG4/WlSyo2geD8k/s320/December+-+jan+09-10+259.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429019577184340578" /> (Playing at the Park with Sophia and Olivia)

Work is going great, I haven't been working my third job that much, and my hours at the other two are slowing down but it's been nice to have Sundays off and still find time to spend with the family and go to the Temple 3 hours away. My job #1 as a full time Nanny is fun. I haven't met that many people who love waking up for work and get paid to play and bake goodies. It's a blast! I especially love the job because I am always doing something and learning new things. I would have to say the best thing about my job is how it teaches me better "domestic" skills. The parents are young but own there own business so they are always running around and don't have time for much. Finally I told Autumn (my boss, the Wife/mom) that she can feel free to leave a list of chores for me to get done while the girls are sleeping. Well, that she did! I finding my self doing chores I barely do around my house! but it's been nice because I come home and want to scrub and clean everything! (My mom doesn't complain at all of course) I thought I was good at multi-tasking before but this is a whole new level. The girls are getting really good at potty training, learning colors, words and numbers, while in return they teach me patience. I've always been a pretty patient person, but this definitely taught me. All those years of praying for patience is slowly coming to me ;) The other day I took the girls and My niece Payton to a local aquarium and got a couple "you look great for having 3 Children!" it was pretty funny. I got that same compliment a second time this last weekend on our temple trip when I took my twin niece and nephew and Payton to the mall. crazy crazy.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/S1fBfnSNLPI/AAAAAAAAAHA/mcs-WucNJp0/s320/December+-+jan+09-10+413.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429020624683871474" /> (My 4 year old Niece Payton,the blonde, playing with the girls I watch who decided to dress themselves that day, Sophia 3 and Olivia 1 3/4, they helped me let the chickens out!)

Besides those wonderful events Life is going pretty good. I've lost weight, got better and spiritual exercise and learning some more self improvement. As long as you look at everything in the glass half full and know it can be worse you're going to be ok! The last news update I have is that I am no longer going to SDSU, after praying I realized I needed to be in another area. So I've applied to a University that I believe is the one. we will see and I will update all of you as soon as I get my acceptance (hopefully) Letter. Until then, Love your Life, Smile often, and know you're loved!

Merry Christmas!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 269px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/SzPv5qxP03I/AAAAAAAAAGI/AFBAXIxCT14/s320/snow.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5418938550669267826" />

Well, Merry Christmas Eve AND Christmas everyone! Things have been so hectic lately! I've been working 3 jobs, spending time with my family and the surf, and trying to get adjusted before I move off to a new University, which I will start in March =D ! I'm pretty excited. So, Story of the day;

For those of you who have been to my house, you know that our driveway is very long and has our mailbox at the end of it. Well, you also know that there is a slight hill/dip at then end of it as well. WELL I was getting off work one day, and I decided to pull up next to the mail box, and get the mail. I pull up, put the truck in park, and step out the door. JUST THEN the truck door (which are super heavy since my Dad got new ones) shut on me, closing my hip, and part of my leg and arm in it - I was pinned. Then the truck started rolling backwards. It was so scary and I thought I was going to get pretty messed up. Luckily I managed to pry the door open and stop the truck. I was so blessed to be able to get out, but that feeling was quickly over powered by horrible pain. I plan on going to the doctor soon because the swelling, bruising and pain hasn't gotten any better. But until then I'm enjoying the time I have with family and glad that was all that happened!

Anyways, that's my blog and Story for the day. Hope your holiday's are the best and you are surrounded with love!

what a year, what a year!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Stl5EtDwr5I/AAAAAAAAAGA/tFkgrxvt5lw/s320/chels10.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5393475150474686354" />
HOLA! it's been a great while. Well a lot has happened since the last blog. obviously. but it's been fun. I have been watching/nannying for this family back home and it's been so much fun! The kids are great and the Money is up there- AND- I recently got a second job working at the old restaurant I worked at before I left to Utah. It's so much fun. The best part is, an old high school buddy of mine is pretty much running the restaurant and told me he'd hire me over the bakery portion. I'm so Excited! I will be in Pastry heaven! Also. MERIDITH IS HOME! my long lost sister who has been on a mission the last 1 1/2! it has been pretty hectic around the house but I love these moments. Meridith got a job with the school district Substituting and tutoring until she moves to Utah in January. We are actually going down near the San Diego area to see one of the Elders she served with give his homecoming Talk. I'm pretty excited because I LOVE that area and almost went there for school. We'll see if that's where I'm going to live next as I check out the area. PLUS it's a home to my FAVORITE temple. Anyways, Funny story time.

Thursday Night we carved pumpkins for the enrichment activity. I was asked to help so I showed up supervising to make sure none of the kids cut themselves with the carving knives. Well good news is- no one got hurt.....with a carving knife... I was asked to carve the extra pumpkin that had been left. So as I put as much as my "creativity" into this pumpkin as I could- I was so proud of the outcome. I had actually done an awesome job! that's rare. As I put the pumpkin with a silhouette of a witch flying passed the moon up onto the stage, I was sadden by what happened next...the very fragile witch's head, fell off. I realized this could be a quick fix with a few toothpicks, so I go into the kitchen looking, but didn't find any. I thought to myself "hmmmm, what could I improvise a toothpick with?" ah-ha! Plastic fork prongs! I am about to pull the plastic prongs off of the fork when I remember that it hurts your fingertips when you do. so thinking I out-smarted the situation, I decide to put the curved end of the fork upwards, on the edge of the counter, push down with my fist, and hold the prongs with my other hand....bad idea. I put pressure on the fork and the prongs break off, but what does the rest of the jagged fork do? comes up and slits my wrist! downwards (which apparently is worse than side to side)and blood gushes out EVERYWHERE! just thinking it is nothing to be worried about, I immediately grab a paper towel and apply pressure. Later on my dad comes into the kitchen and helps and we manage to bandage it up. While debating about going to the hospital, thoughts come through my head... could you imagine sitting there with slit wrist and explaining to the doctor "No seriously Doc, I was carving pumpkins at a church activity when we were out of toothpicks, so I take this plastic fork right?...." meanwhile they put me on suicide watch and send me to a shrink! haha

anyways...maybe I'll find that more amusing than others but it just goes to show you you can never be too careful...and just when you think you are...you're wrong. OH! last note for the night. Meridith Dyed my hair...so here are some pictures!

Loving the Country! (pics come later)

HI EVERYONE! It's been a while since I've been on here! Well a lo has happened since my last post but just an update. I've been in North Dakota for the last week and a half and Love it! it is SO beautiful out here! While most of the people I tell that to that live out here say "oh well just wait until the winter time!" I still am amazed by the beauty. Sine I've been here Stuart and I have been up to Lake Metigoshe to spend time and go boating with the billings, gone swimming in a couple of rivers, seen fort Lincoln (which is also the Home of General Custer for a while) been to a few of the museums and site seeing. We also managed to boat up to Canada which was awesome. It's been so fun being here, and I've been blessed with meeting the people I have, and visited the places I've been. I leave Saturday night and know I am going to be so sad!! =( But I am grateful I was even able to come here in the firs place. Seeing Stuart after the longest 3 weeks of my life was so rewarding! I would also like to thank Nancy and Kent Danielson for there sweet hearts and spoiling me. And Lindsey Billings and Collete Owen for giving me a place to stay. They are the funnest. Anyways, I'm sure my grammer was off this blog but I was in a rush - need to be doing fun things before my trip is over, what's on the schedule today? Fun with the Danielson family, Institute and tomorrow? GOING TO TUTTLE TO SEE THE FAMILY FARM! until then!

Chelsey

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://chelseymw.blogspot.com/2009/09/loving-country-pics-come-later.html' title='Loving the Country! So far this month I've ran the 5K, well walked too, Met Stuart's amazing mom, Was able to witness a beautiful Daughter of our Heavenly father brought into this world (Congrats Hiller family!) and Had Stuart's car broken into, and Had my purse stolen right before I bought a car. So I'm pretty sure this month alone has been pretty eventful. In case you didn't hear the scoop, Stuart and I were at Wal*Mart about 3 parking slots from the door when a red older Toyota pick up truck parked right by us. Stuart and I were in for no more than ten minuted when we came out and went to his Jeep. All of the sudden you hear a "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" from Stuart's mouth. I go around and we look to see his window partially broken out. We search his car and find nothing stolen. Then as I go home to confirm my loan amount online I realize I need my license. I get up to get it when all of the sudden it's nowhere to be found. I knew that stuart and I had wanted to go swimming so I knoew only to take my phone to wal*mart before hand, not my purse. I was wrong. I check my onlilne bank statement and find that my card is apparently in Salt Lake being used to get gas and McDonalds. So far. I start crying thinking how could I be so stupid to leave it in the car. but Then I remembered that I hid it REALLY well from when I was coming home from work, and had just forgotten to take it out. We call the officer that helped us at Wal*mart and explained what happened.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 293px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sl4XDRa089I/AAAAAAAAAFw/sLjRBRSx-Ow/s320/theives.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358745951600440274" />

I start to calm down when I realize my DIGITAL CAMERA was in there. And not just regular pictures were on it. Pictures from my grandparents farewell and Stuart proposing were on it. Then I realize my new memory cards that were pretty expensive were in there, and my temple recommend. As much as I would like to catch the jerks that did this and attack them, I realize this is where forgiveness should step in. They actually taught me that I need to be more careful and make sure my purse IS where IT IS. luckily none of these material things will matter later on in life. maybe even a year from now. But everyone has the right to be a little upset after their purse gets stolen right? ;)

Happy 4th Of July Everyone!!!

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sk-TF5IuNvI/AAAAAAAAAFo/pKiEfiFpBDQ/s320/100_1149.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354660211412842226" />
First off I would just like to say I feel sorry for Brother Danielson who has to spend today alone! He is a young Veteran and should be having fun with all of us! haha Well so far so good. Thursday, Stuart and I were able to go up to the Hiller (parent's) residence and watch some illegal Fireworks, THAT was awesome. Then last night Stuart, Serena, Jesse, a couple of Jesse's Friends, Sister Danielson (Mom) and Sherie Echols and I went to go watch the fireworks at the Golf coarse but got lost so ended up driving around, it was PERFECT though because we were able to see fireworks everyone including Layton since we were so high up, when we finally got to the coarse it was about ten minutes to ending, but still great.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sk-Sund7prI/AAAAAAAAAFg/fWQyq2XhjSQ/s320/100_1075.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354659811532973746" />
This Morning Serena and I woke up a little after six a.m. and went to the Centerville 5K Freedom run. It was then I realized how out of Shape I am. BUT we finished. We came back, took a nap and at anytime now everyone ELSE will wake up and meet at the Hiller residence. I was still running early, and proud of myself lol when all of the sudden A car heading East decided he didn't want to stop at his light that had been red for a while. He noticed me last minute and so he sped up thinking he could avoid the impact. He couldn't. Nothing Could. I T-boned him going 35 m.p.h, he was going 40. his whole passenger side of his new Honda Accord was THRASHED. and His vehicle is totalled. My Trucks whole front end got smashed in , and my airbags didn't even deployee. My knee slammed into the dash and has started bruising already. Both the man and his wife were ok, she was only complaining of soreness in the sternm area. Sorry Lady, not gonna get insurance medical info out of me. It was YOUR guys's fault. I came home after church ( yes I still went and taught my lesson =) and called both insurance parties, Set up a rental car, and tried not to freak out. Later, one of the room mates Lisa, told me that a couple days ago, A tow Truck wasn't paying attention, slammed through moveable barriars*, and killed one, injuring many. What's up with all of this? I can proudly say at least I was driving safe and cautously. BUT just goes to show it can happen to anyone. so please, don't speed, keep your eyes open and be alert. There is no need for heartache, Hassle or spendy insurance policies. =)

check out the CRAZY video of the tow truck incident at : http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=6732239&autostart=y

Back from Cali

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/SiVgJCCOk4I/AAAAAAAAAEo/XfMIjvObP-U/s320/calitrip2+070.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342782241226265474" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/SiVfrrVxmoI/AAAAAAAAAEg/CWdDzouEeYU/s320/calitrip2+065.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342781736918030978" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/SiVfVUZMWJI/AAAAAAAAAEY/fuklHlAcR4g/s320/calitrip2+019.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342781352801228946" />
So this last week I was able to go to Cali - Last minute. IT was a learning experience for me big time because a few different things happened. While I wasn't helping my Mom, and family, Stormy and I were able to do some fun activities. We even got to see the Redwoods and go to the beach and river, which is great because those were pretty much my backyard. I forgot what a beautiful place I live in. it's great! One day we were able to go River Rafting - and I almost died. twice. but it's all good because I am still alive and kicking! I am trying my hardest to get set back in the real world but it's been hard. I miss my family so much though! here are some pictures!

Just dance

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/ShSXzyA4sDI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/AOvSIs9bYyg/s320/DSCI3491.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338058374195490866" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/ShSXznEG1DI/AAAAAAAAAEI/BntrCvqGqNI/s320/DSCI3496.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338058371256210482" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/ShSV-11JK1I/AAAAAAAAAEA/wZkG6Vug_CI/s320/103_0947.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338056365175286610" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/ShSV-vK9BVI/AAAAAAAAAD4/UhVx__PxZI0/s320/103_0978.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338056363387716946" />
Hi everybody! it's been a small while since my last blog. Well, first off, I am proud to anounce that I am working a second job as a Nanny. It's been fun, there is only one child, and he is 6 going on 12. He is so smart! I learn something new everytime I go over there! He likes to teach me about Hurricane and how they are formed. It's great. I'm still working my regular job as a medical assistant though too. That came in handy today as I was chasing down Smokey (the Kid I nanny for) and bashed my ankle RIGHT into the solid oak handle of a reclining chair. IT hurt but I just started laughing hoping THAT would take the pain away. good times. This last weekend was fun, as you probably saw from my Facebook Pictures, we went to a YSA activity and dance and then later went Ice blocking. here are some pictures from both of those as well. As far as new news goes, Not a lot has happened other than My Grandparents got their mission call to New Zealand! I'm way excited. Well that's about it. Until next time!

Just for you Serena, Just for you:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn8dHCL04I/AAAAAAAAADw/gPWHdA0DWy8/s320/103_0699.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335072810631680898" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn8UyWRTPI/AAAAAAAAADo/ruMyYMxJhaA/s320/103_0707.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335072667639827698" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn8In_XbsI/AAAAAAAAADg/LJAEM6lg4jI/s320/103_0713.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335072458700975810" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn7r6axz_I/AAAAAAAAADY/kdPXLpZkXRs/s320/103_0740.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335071965431582706" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn7ishfHSI/AAAAAAAAADQ/jc82pnm4cKs/s320/103_0777.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335071807082798370" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3WJdfHIgIeU/Sgn7TaeXFhI/AAAAAAAAADI/kDpLfYVGZK0/s320/103_0727.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335071544539813394" />

Roses Are Red,
Violets are Blue,
It's simple Serena,
I just love you! So Mother's day went splendid. Since I am just SO far away from my amazing mother, I thought thought Mother's day was going to be a little sad this year. No waking up at the "bum" crack of dawn to make her breakfast, no creating little menus for dinner and cooking it myself AD doing dishes, no buying her flowers and reminding her to water them so they don't DIE, and no being able to just cuddle up to her and act like I'm 12 again. I was getting bummed. THEN Friday My Beautiful Grandmother called me and told me that she and my Grandfather would be speaking in their Home Ward as a "Farwell" since they recieved their Mission call to serve in New Zealand. I forgot that they would be leaving in June, and noticed that time had flew by! I then though, "Of course! What better to spend Mother's day with the Mother who gave birth to one of YOUR parents! The Mother who taught them what THEY know!" so Sunday Morning I left at the crack of dawn pretty much to drive an hour and a half to my Grandparents house for church and family dinner afterwards. It was such an amazing Sunday! I was reminded at how much we Women do! And it made me respect my Mom and Grandma, shoot EVERY MOM afterwards.

Sadly I had to leave fairly early to get ready and go to bed at a decent hour to work early today (the next day, being Monday) but thought, "OH WAIT! Even better! Meridith (my sister on a mission) gets to call home, which means she's going to call me!"......she never called. Actually, My parents forgot about me. ok ok, maybe not FORGOT about me, but they definatly never thought to three-way call me. But it's all good. After that I arrived home and spoke with my mom some more. IT was a great relaxing evening. AND as far as the Video for the day, you HAVE to check this out!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLvQPI2DWT8

My Mother's Poem

I would like to dedicate this poem to My loving, teaching, Humble, Kind, mother Michelle Rene for everything she has done for me, she's always sacrificing so much for us kids and has been doing so for her family even back in her day. even though it's just a poem, I wrote it for her as a partial Birthday Present to show her a portion of her worth and the gratitude I feel towards her. And yes I'm even talking about last night when it was raining and Thundering! I love the Thunder, especially with the rain and lightening. Probably because it helps me fall asleep since it reminds me of my hometown back in Cali. Well the weekend went great, we (Stuart and I) were able to get some service in, which is always good, then I rearranged my room and did some cleaning. We even got into some fun arts and crafts that I can't really talk about because one of them was for one of you and hasn't been mailed off yet. Good times. Anyways, I'm pretty excited because I was browsing online and found out that my old Teaching position has opened back up! I called to see if the same director (principle) was there but it turns out she hasn't been in over a year (oops) but I was speaking with the new gal and she seemed to like me, so I have a Interview Wednesday Morning. Wish me Luck! other than that I've also recently joined a dance crew.

Turns out a while back when I went to the LDS dance club in Salt Lake one of their "scouts" was there and impressed by my "dance skills" (crazy i know!) they called me up and offered me a spot and so I thought it'd be fun to learn more about it, then eventually take it. The Dance Crew (still don't know the name of it) has part ownership of a dance club in Sandy and will be in charged of pumping the audience up for celebrity performers as well as main acts. Every night we also put on a performance too. I'm excited to see where everything goes. With things like that though you have to be careful, TIPS: ALSO ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT IT IS AND DANCING YOU WILL BE PERFORMING. I have to remember to tell myself this isn't the Small town where I'm from, and there is so much worldly things nowadays. luckily this one is far from it. Anywho, that's my random chatter for today. Later tonight for FHE we're going to the Joseph Smith memorial building and will be watching the Joseph Smith movie. I'm excited for it. Man I'm just excited for so much! haha

Joke of the day!

Thought this was pretty funny!

Things I'll never try again:

4/30/09

Hi everybody! I'm not gonna lie, I was really excited when I saw all my comments. I'm sure 5 isn't a lot compared to others BUT at least I got some! So I wasn't sure as to what to write about today, but luckily the room mates never fail to keep ideas and experiences from happening. Tonight after work I did some visiting teaching then retired to my lovely home to have a nice quiet remainder of the day. After taking a brief nap, Stuart came over with a movie. The movie was kind of boring so I went upstairs to browse the Internet (haha), and there was Serena.....oooh Serena. We were looking online at "how to do" certain things to improve our health. We found out that you can increase the size of your veins by eating a lot of Iron and vitamins. THEN, we found out if you take vitamin C with Iron it boosts the Iron amount. Since I was cutting my favorite fruit, the amazing MANGO she realized, "HEY! Mango's have Vitamin C! Let's take some Molasses because it has iron in it!" Serena is very wise and knows what she is talking about, and got really excited with this idea, so obviously, I'm going to be pumped! She takes her molasses out of the cupboard and gets two spoons out. She says that we have to take two spoon fulls, so I ask her what it'll taste like (I am THEE worst at swallowing anything other than beverages) she replies and says "Nasty, but just don't let it hit your tongue." I knew right then this was going to turn out badly.

I get myself ready for the first take. I stand in front of her, slightly bended knees, hands out in front of me, then wonder why I look like I'm about to get tackled in a football game. Then Serena Asks the question you should never ask anyone you are about to give nasty medicine to; "Ready?" she says. I don't know if anyone is ever ready to taste what I was about to taste next. She puts the spoon in my mouth, and scrapes the remainder of what is on the spoon off on my teeth to make sure I get ALL of it. I feel it go down my throat and think "Hey this isn't too bad" but then my taste buds turn back on after I stop holding my breath..... thus begins the dry heaving. My gag reflexes are awesome, and I rarely ever do that "fake about to throw up" thing/noise, but THIS was DISGUSTING! next thing I know I'm running around shoving whatever is closest in my mouth trying to get some actually good taste on my tongue. Serena is Laughing by the counter. I Decided at that moment that I would never take raw molasses EVER again and that I probably won't be able to eat Molasses Cookies in my life. I also realized that I would never be able to taste black licorice the same way. Why you ask? because I am not joking when I say Molasses tastes like rotten, moldy, expired Black Licorice. Well, I hope today's blog made sense. It's getting late and I'm kinda just babbling on but I hope it's somewhat entertaining for you =) I've also Attached some funny/cute random pictures. Mostly of me and Payton Mae (Amanda's Oldest) Thanks for reading!

THINGS I LEARNED TODAY:

How to Eat like Filipino's do (thanks Serena!)

The people you visit teach love it when you bring them home made Bread!

Inventing a new recipe seems to be my thing! Or lack of. I have seen a few people with these blog pages floating around, but after moving out to Utah I was amazed at how many there were! I didn't ever think I would get one considering the fact that I already have a Facebook and can barely keep up with that since it's always changing, but then My Lovely room mate talked me into, or more like - posted the most hideous pictures of me on hers and so I thought I may have to do some of my own picture posts so you didn't think she was living with Chubaca (from Star Wars).

Today was a pretty good day, I no longer have two jobs, just the one working as an M.A. (Medical Assistant) for a Podiatrist office and so I have 4 days off this week! woooo! I like the fact that I have some extra time now as opposed to working 60 hour weeks like before, but that feeling quickly goes away as I look at my direct deposit and realize I'm a little short on rent. Sometimes I wish the Bank of Mom and Dad was an option, then remember it never has been.I deicded it was time to buckle down on job hunting and so in the morning I went around checking up on applications then went to Salt Lake to work out at my Gym. After a *cough* one hour*Cough* long workout, we ate some lunch and went to Sugarhouse park and fed ducks, then met up with some friends and went to the Temple, it was so beautiful as always! The rest of the evening consisted of making new goals for Stuart , well mostly Serena did, and then we talked to Serena about her awesome hot date with an NBA player - no really. totally happened. Most of you reading this already know me, and my living situation but just in case, so there is no confusion, I live with 4 other Girls named Serena, Shauna, Lisa and Jesse - oh I guess Jesse doesn't count since he is Serena's brother and only comes around when there is food. So 3 girls. for real. Well I hope I made this blog somewhat entertaining and got you excited to read more as days pass!
